In sweltering conditions Australia’s top sedan drivers produced a magnificent spectacle and the 39th running of the Championship will be long remembered as a true oval track classic. This DVD comprises every race from both nights of the Championship and on the second night of competition the event was filmed with multiple camera angles and includes spectacular footage from on board race cams that were installed in Mick Nicola and Michael Doblo’s race cars.

Chequered Flag Special on May 2 29 Apr 2008
The popular Chequered Flag speedway program returns to Fox Sports this weekend with coverage of the prestigious 2008 Australian Speedway Sidecar Championship. The one hour highlights show, filmed at Adelaide's Gillman Speedway, will be screened on Friday night, May 2 on Fox Sports 2 at 10.30pm (EST) and will then be replayed in full on Sunday afternoon, May 4 at 1pm (EST) on Fox Sports 3. This program will be the first of several "Chequered Flag Winter Specials". The King of Wings will be screened on May 23 at 11pm (EST) on Fox Sports 1.
