Submitting Material to SRN

The following information covers submission requirements.
• Full page area for Speedway Racing News is 195mm(w) x 270mm (h)
• Bleed available (add 5mm to overall document)
• Dot gain when printed @18-25%

If SRN are required to scan photographs on your behalf, these photos must be free of copyright. Photos lifted from other publications, books, catalogues etc, or anything marked with a copyright notice, will be queried and, if no permission for use is obtained, we will refuse to scan them.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
As all SRN magazines are electronically paginated we greatly prefer advertising material be by our various transfer methods:
E-mail (preferred method)
CD-Rom
Please note that we can only accept files in the following formats:
Our preferred format is ADOBE PDF Files, created in Distiller
Adobe InDesign, Macintosh (up to version 2.0)
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe Photoshop

If your job is in anything other than the above please contact us first before sending.
Please ensure all files are included on your submitted disk, this includes all graphics & pictures, and special care should be taken to embed fonts, or better still convert all EPS fonts to outlines. All colour artwork should be supplied in CMYK and not RGB.
When sending files electronically, please include a short email confirming the details of the file.

The issue date, size of ad, client and agency information should be considered a minimum requirement. Also include a contact phone number so we can contact you in the event of a problem.
